Computer Science and Engineering Celebrates 45th Anniversary

45th anniversary

As one of the oldest computer science programs in the nation, the UNT College of Engineering’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering will celebrate its 45th anniversary April 28, 2017, at Apogee Stadium. The event also will highlight the 25th anniversary of the Laboratory for Recreational Computing.

The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour and features dinner and an award ceremony at 7 p.m. honoring past alumni and current students. Tickets are $10.

Dinner choices include:

  • Top Sirloin with Whiskey Mustard Sauce
  • Rum-marinated Chicken Breast
  • Vegan-stuffed Portabella Mushroom
