CSE students and faculty attend Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, with the support from the BRAID grant, funded 13 women students to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing in Orlando, Florida the week of October 4th. BRAID stands for Building, Recruiting and Inclusion for Diversity and is funded by Facebook, Google, Intel and Microsoft. In addition, Natalie Parde was sponsored by Google to attend the conference and Katie Ouelette was sponsored by QualComm to attend.
