Research team receives Best Student Paper Award at 2023 IEEE TPS Conference

Our Department was well-represented at the 2023 IEEE TPS (Trust, Privacy, and Security) Conference by our Ph.D. candidate researchers, Shakila Zaman, Sirisha Talapuru, Kritagya Upadhyay, and recent graduate, Dr. Syed Badruddoja.

Led by CSE Professor & Director of UNT CICS, Dr. Ram Dantu, the team of researchers won Best Paper Award for their research entitled, "Seamless Asset Exchange in Interconnected Metaverses: Unraveling On-Chain Atomic Swap."

The 2023 IEEE TPS (Trust, Privacy, and Security) Conference is also the 5th in its kind. Hosted in Atlanta, GA; the conference welcomes all participating institutions and organizations, such as NSF, in promoting cybersecurity research and fueling innovation in its respective field. The conference acts as a forum for presentation of state-of-the art innovations, and discussion among academic, industrial researchers, and practitioners on issues related to trust, privacy and security in emerging smart and intelligent systems and applications.
